Hi, I'm Anita, and I'm so glad you're here! I know that finding the “right” therapist can feel exhausting—especially when you’re already overwhelmed, anxious, or just trying to hold everything together. I’ve been there myself, and I want you to know the effort is worth it. The right fit can make all the difference in feeling supported, understood, and truly seen.

My approach is rooted in compassion, curiosity, and the understanding that we are all shaped by the systems we live in—family, culture, and community.

Whether you’re an individual experiencing anxiety, burnout, or trauma, a parent seeking support for your child, or a family navigating communication challenges or a life transition, Bright Haven offers a welcoming space where your story matters.

As human beings, we are wired for connection, with a deep longing to be seen, understood, and accepted just as we are. At its heart, therapy is a relational process—gently exploring old stories, loosening patterns that no longer serve you, and creating space to reconnect with your authentic self. Healing unfolds through meaningful connection—both in the safety of the therapeutic relationship and within the families and communities that shape our lives.

Many people come to therapy in moments of anxiety, conflict, or emotional overwhelm—times when it can feel difficult to see a way forward. I hope to meet you right where you are and help you sort through what feels tangled: the internalized, the inherited, and the unspoken. Together, we work toward finding clarity, gaining perspective, and opening up space for the next steps to come into focus.

Therapy is not about quick fixes, but about cultivating lasting change. This means building resilience, developing new skills, and practicing healthier patterns that support growth and well-being over time. The process is one of steady movement—choosing progress over perfection—as you create a more grounded, authentic, and sustainable way of being.

At Bright Haven, we use a systems-based approach to therapy, which means looking at the whole picture—how patterns, relationships, and life experiences are connected. Rather than focusing on labels or what feels “wrong,” we work together to understand these connections and gently shift the patterns that no longer serve you. This opens the way for growth, healing, and positive change for individuals, couples, and families alike.
